Two historic Spanish rock bands, as talented and experienced as they are free of prejudices. Between the rumba and flamenco pop with recent electronic touches of Kiko Veneno and the venerable school of rock and blues of Ariel Rot there are many more things in common than it seems at first glance, as demonstrated in this joint show, which started last year as A country to listen to, with room for surprises and very special guests.
Kiko Veneno is a lucid artist, immune to wear and tear, who always challenges himself. The Figueres native has been living for years a second youth, in which Sombrero Roto (2019) and Hambre (2021) are possibly the most adventurous proposals of his entire career. Without denying his traditional hallmarks, but incorporating touches of electronics, it is no exaggeration to say that he is like our own David Byrne. His spectacular live performances confirm it.
Ariel Rot needs few introductions. Since the times of Tequila and Los Rodriguez he has been a constant presence in our rock. A synonym of reliability. He has also been proving it for decades with his solo career, marked with albums as exemplary as Cenizas en el aire (1999), Lo siento Frank (2003) or La manada (2016) and fruitful collaborations with Pereza, Fito Páez or Andrés Calamaro himself.
At Noches del Botánico we believe that there is no age to enjoy culture, that is why all minors can access the venue regardless of their age. They must access with their corresponding ticket and accompanied by their father, mother or legal guardian.
If the age of the minor is less than 16 years old, he/she must always be accompanied by his/her father, mother or legal guardian.
