Rhythm, groove and wisdom. This is what the Germans Moderat bring, the brand born from the union of German musicians Sascha Ring (Apparat) with Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary (Modeselektor), one of the most respected projects of electronic music in Europe, and the Valencian Nacho Marco, one of the most reliable DJs and musicians of the national electronic music scene.
Moderat have spent more than a decade creating some of the most seductive and magnetic records on the electronic scene, and translating them into live performances with convincing skill. They had been silent for six years, but the wait for their fourth album, MORE D4TA (2022), was worth it. They presented it last year at several festivals in our country, and now they are back to remind us how well they made the most of the time during those days when the world seemed to be suspended in limbo, in the middle of a pandemic. The Berlin trio reminded us in this album, worked from a distance, of the technological dependence in which we are immersed, through another handful of suggestive compositions that swing between synth pop, bass, digital soul and the most cerebral electronica. A winning combination, of which they are still their best creditors. They are already a style in itself.
The Valencian Nacho Marco is one of the most respected musicians of the Spanish electronic scene. Producer, DJ, composer, editor and teacher, he has stood out in the last decade for albums such as the extraordinary Simple Things (2019), in which influences from Detroit techno, disco music, funk, soul, jazz and house came together. He has offered sessions in venues such as Fabric (London), Redlight (Paris) or Propaganda (Moscow), among many others. Also at Sónar in Barcelona. He has remixed Fangoria, La Habitación Roja, Shakira, Groove Armada or Paul Hardcastle. In 2006 he founded his own label, Loudeast, with which he has accumulated more than forty references, and in 2017 he did the same with Canoa Snake Dancer, giving space to more experimental music, close to ambient, as the album of Diamont Dancer, his project with Pau Roca, guitarist of La Habitación Roja, whom he had already produced in his parallel band, Lost Tapes.
At Noches del Botánico we believe that there is no age to enjoy culture, that is why all minors can access the venue regardless of their age. They must access with their corresponding ticket and accompanied by their father, mother or legal guardian.
If the age of the minor is less than 16 years old, he/she must always be accompanied by his/her father, mother or legal guardian.
