Flamenco and jazz, singer-songwriter, copla and folk. A night of joyful alliances and sound languages that dialogue live by the hand of two of the most dazzling collaborative projects of recent times in our country. One male, the other female. Those formed by Josemi Carmona, Javier Colina and Bandolero, on the one hand, and Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Maria Gadú and Liliana Herrero, on the other.
Sílvia Pérez Cruz is from Castelldefells, Maria Gadú from Sao Paulo and Liliana Herrero from Entre Ríos (Argentina). The first one expresses herself in Spanish and Catalan. The second in Portuguese and English. The third, only in Spanish. But all three share a sensibility, a kind of common saudade, which is contagious in everything they do, regardless of the style they approach. Because the voices of Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Maria Gadú and Liliana Herrero impregnate everything, to the point that they liquefy any other style book in their own, and show it in an excellent combination together, in trio format.
Josemi Carmona from Madrid, Javier Colina from Navarra and José Manuel Ruiz Motos "Bandolero", also from Madrid, are consummate masters, the former on guitar. The second, on the double bass. And the third, on percussion. And as flamenco is (it must be, wow) the art of contraband-sonorous, the primordial melting pot of the mixture, nothing like fusing both sensibilities, so perfectly assembled that they could almost play blindly, in some of the greatest albums of that fusion that we know as flamenco jazz. Like Decerca (2016) or the more recent Vida (2022).
At Noches del Botánico we believe that there is no age to enjoy culture, that is why all minors can access the venue regardless of their age. They must access with their corresponding ticket and accompanied by their father, mother or legal guardian.
If the age of the minor is less than 16 years old, he/she must always be accompanied by his/her father, mother or legal guardian.
