Last Sunday, July 29, the third edition of Noches de Botánico came to a close with the wonderful concert by Norah Jones. For 29 nights, the festival received at the Real Jardín Botánico Alfonso XIII of the Complutense University of Madrid 70,000 attendees -25,000 more people than in 2017- who seconded one of the most important posters of this summer in Spain.
This success in terms of audience coincides with another impressive data: we celebrated 16 sold-out concerts. Thus, Noches del Botánico closes its 2018 edition with sold out in the three dates of Serrat and in the performances of: Elvis Costello and Seu Jorge, Kraftwerk 3-D, Pat Metheny, Rufus Wainwright, Brad Mehldau and Cécile McLorin Salvant, David Byrne, James Rhodes, Miguel Poveda, Bomba Estéreo / Zoé, Caetano, Moreno, Zeca and Tom Veloso, Carlos Vives, Phoenix and Norah Jones.
All attendees were able to enjoy their favorite artists in a privileged natural environment such as this Jardín Botánico of the UCM, collaborating actively with respect for the environment.
This valuable joint experience encourages us to continue working and improving the festival, with great motivation and stimulus for the next edition.
