From the union of music, university and nature, this project was born five years ago in the Jardín Botánico of the Complutense University of Madrid that we wanted to baptize as Noches del Botánico. Today we celebrate with all of you the publication of our new poster, which will take place from June 17th to July 29th.
It was our restlessness that allowed us to dream high and create a festival in the city of Madrid that would make it possible to enjoy open-air concerts in a unique setting and with an endless number of artists that would satisfy the different musical genres that we are assaulted by these days.
This dream would not have been possible without our fellow travelers from the Complutense University of Madrid: a plural and tolerant academic community that pursues and promotes education, and that has taught us to believe in a different festival far from conventionalism. The music of Noches del Botánico is multicultural, flies free and is inspired by versatility.
Throughout these five years, we have enjoyed unforgettable concerts with top level artists in a reduced format and we have vibrated and jumped with the performances and the passion that the musicians have given us in their live performances. We continue with the illusion intact and with the desire to continue promoting culture and, especially, music.
We are aware of the effort involved in paying for a ticket and we would like to thank each and every one of you who have accompanied us along the way. A path that last year we consolidated with more than 90,000 attendees during the 34 concerts, making us a tourist attraction for the city of Madrid and a sensory experience for the summer nights of the city.
As every year, we are also grateful for the support of all the sponsors and collaborators, Cervezas Alhambra, Bacardi, Coca-Cola, DS Automóviles, who make Noches del Botánico a reality allowing the spectator to experience unique concerts. In the same way, we would like to greatly appreciate the involvement of all the media, big and small, who always report on the day to day of the festival allowing to bring music to many corners of the world.
We are especially excited to celebrate this fifth anniversary with all of you and that you continue to be a cornerstone of this family that continues to grow. We hope you love our new programming as much as we do, and we hope to see you again dancing to the sound of Noches del Botánico.
