Friday 29 June was a day dedicated to guitarists. From the beginning to the end.
Undoubtedly, the star of the night was Jeff Beck, the tireless and talented guitarist who gave a real lesson in music and rock. Although the evening was completed with two other events that made the venue of Noches del Botánico an authentic space of worship to the six strings.
The liturgy began in the Zona Club Alhambra thanks to the good work of Iñaki de la Torre, or our #ResidenteDeLaTorre DJ from M80, who gave a good overview in his session christened 'Guitar Gods' to legends such as Allman Brothers, Jimi Hendrix or Jonhy Winter.
From the main pulpit, Ana Popovic 's portentous and powerful performance showed us with technique and soul what real blues sounds like.
And the final redemption came at the hands of Jeff Beck. A musician of inexhaustible creativity and talent who left the audience ecstatic, bless them!
