New full houses at Noches del Botánico 2018. Just eight days before the cycle starts its third edition, three performances hang the 'no tickets left' sign and are added to the sold out of Joan Manuel Serrat, Norah Jones and Kraftwerk.

The dates that have sold out are those of Rufus Wainwright, James Rhodes and Miguel Poveda. Three completely different shows and sound concepts but with something in common, which will bring to the stage of Jardín Botánico of the Complutense University of Madrid their best compositions.

In the case of Rufus Wainwright, he will play on July 5 at Noches del Botánico for a devoted and excited audience. And, above all, very conscious that he will have in front of him one of the most talented, intense, extravagant and risky artists of recent times.

His most recent work, 'Take All My Loves', sets nine sonnets by William Shakespeare to music and features such exuberant collaborations as Florence Welch (Florence & The Machine), Helena Bonham Carter and Carrie Fischer. He also has time to bring his second opera to life, which premieres this autumn, and to combine touring around the world...

In turn, the pianist James Rhodes will arrive on Friday 13 July to show us his virtuosity at the piano and give us performances of classical pieces that will make us vibrate. The programme he has prepared for the occasion is as follows: J. S. BACH Partita No. 1 in B flat, BWV 825 / F. CHOPIN / M. BALAKIREV Romanza from Concerto No. 1 in E flat, Op. 11 / F. CHOPIN Ballade No. 3 in A flat, Op. 47 / S. RACHMANINOV Preludes Op. 3, No. 2 and Preludes, Op. 32 No. 13.

Charismatic, visceral and highly talented, Rhodes has become one of the world's leading popularisers of classical music, thanks to his tours and concerts at all kinds of festivals and venues, and his books.

And what can we say about Miguel Poveda? One of the most representative artists of contemporary flamenco today and with an exciting project in his hands: his new show, EnLorquecido, as a tribute to the remembered poet Federico García Lorca. In his latest album, Poveda puts two years of in-depth research into Lorca's life and work into a live performance that will leave no one indifferent.

As of today, there are only a few tickets left for the space enabled for people with reduced mobility and companion, as well as ONE ticket for the track area that we imagine will not last long... We will have him in Madrid on July 14th at Noches del Botánico.

And there are many other #NDB2018 concerts about to sell out: Phoenix, Pat Metheny, Elvis Costello, Jeff Beck, Simple Minds... Stay tuned!
