With only a week to go before the fourth edition of Noches del Botánico, we announce a series of artistic novelties and improvements to the venue.
From June 20 to July 31, the Real Jardín Botánico Alfonso XIII of the Complutense University of Madrid will host 34 concerts of different styles, 10 of them sold out and others about to do so, where more than 65,000 attendees from different generations who have already purchased their tickets will be able to enjoy the live performances at a privileged distance, in an idyllic setting.
New guest artists and double bill: Ain the machine (Naked on the dance floor) on 26 June opening for Salvador Sobral, Amaro Ferreiro on 27 for Iván Ferreiro, Komraus on 2 July as guests of Daryl Hall & John Oates, Judith Owen will precede Michael Bolton on 11, Juan Habichuela Nieto on 12 for Diego El Cigala, La Tremendita on 14 with Niña Pastori, Guacamayo DJ with Orishas on 19, and Rufus T. Firefly (special cover versions show) on the 31st with Russian Red. You can see all the info here.
This year the festival will open its doors every day at 19:00h, so that can enjoy for longer Jardín Botánico, its various services, gastronomic proposals and a complementary artistic program .
The Alhambra Moments Zone will welcome the public before the concerts on the main stage. will be enlivened daily by a varied programme with renowned DJs such as Eva A. & Xabi B., a duo formed by Eva Amaral and Xabi Blanco, Joaquín Reyes & Adrián LeFreak, made up of the comedian and the Malasaña promoter , the female punk rock duo Cheries, or the already established Smart, programmer of Ochoymedio, and Eme DJ. There will also be room for journalists from the main media, emerging artists such as Chlöes Clue or Embusteros, new talent with the participation of Mind Gap Now, Gabriela Richardson or Javi Medina, and for other activities such as the exhibition and swing workshop by Anabel Nuñez.
Following the close collaboration with the UCM and the management of Jardín Botánico in the mutual environmental commitment, this year the public can visit the exhibition "Butterflies in your city" every day from 19:00h to 21:00h.
In addition, NDB has expanded its gastronomic offer, which will include options for vegetarians and celiacs. There will also be an attractive range of cocktails and mojitos.
Finally, there will once again be a design market.
