It is with great excitement that we welcome the new video clip of the Australian siblings Angus & Julia Stone. And it arrives just in time for us to recreate before their concert at Noches del Botánico.
The chosen song is 'Nothing Else', track number eight of their recently released album 'Snow', which we will have the great pleasure of listening to live next Wednesday, July 4th at their concert at Noches del Botánico.
Released in 2017, the brother and sister duo's latest album has been critically acclaimed and is now getting a positive response from the public on stage. They have sold out concerts on their Australian tour and are selling out many of the dates they have announced on their European tour.
The video for 'Nothing Else' shows us Julia in two versions: one creative and chaotic, the artist, and the other responsible and serious, the businesswoman. Through this mirror they want to talk about self-acceptance and self-esteem. "I wanted to make a video that shows an aspect of the relationship we have with ourselves. The parts that we love, the parts that we dislike and irritate us...", explains Julia Stone herself.
We leave you the video of 'Nothing Else' for you to enjoy:
Plus, we've got a rarity for you: we're bringing back his high-profile collaboration with DJ and producer Kygo, 'For What It's Worth'.
This song is part of the album 'Cloud Nine', which the Norwegian released in 2016 and which features the Australian brothers. It sounds delicate and elegant and also has that manufacturing of songs that you can't stop humming once you've heard them. The Norwegian producer's hand is noticeable in the modern and almost danceable touch he adds to each of the arrangements with which the melody grows.
Kygo is a magician when it comes to creating tracks that get you hooked and get you on the dancefloor, and always with a classy production. This was the case with his remix of Ed Sheeran's 'I See Fire' and also with his remix of 'Midnight' by Coldplay, the band fronted by Chris Martin.
Don't miss the concert of Angus & Julia Stone next July 4th at the Real Jardín Botánico of the Complutense University! Advance tickets are still available from 35 euros plus booking fee.
