With a packed Botánico, Carlos Vives offered a devastating show from the first minute of his performance and managed to make us forget the unexpected cancellation of Monsieur Periné due to logistical problems.
He arrived at the Botánico, which hung the 'no tickets' sign, as a faithful standard bearer of his beloved vallenato. Before a completely devoted audience from many different countries, he performed songs from his entire career, such as 'Cantor Fonseca', 'Déjame entrar' or the chanted 'Fruta Fresca' and 'La bicicleta'.
He also surprised us with exceptional collaborations on stage: with Mauricio Rivera he sang a duet 'La tierra del olvido', while right at the encores he introduced Melendi, with whom he sang 'El arrepentido'. To end the party, he gave us a version of 'Robarte un beso' with the flamenco choir RAYA.
