We are once again winners of the prize for the most sustainable festival at the Iberian Festival Awards! After winning the same category three years ago, we retained the award on Saturday 26th March at the event that brings together representatives of the most outstanding music events in Spain and Portugal.
An award that consolidates our commitment to the environment and the unique surroundings of Jardín Botánico of the Complutense University of Madrid, to whom we thank for their constant involvement. Likewise, we would like to thank our sponsors, collaborators and Media Partners who continue to contribute their grain of sand in the musical event that makes the capital vibrate during the months of June and July.
But that's not the end of the good news: we are already more than 50,000 for this promising sixth edition that awaits us! We are very excited about the warm welcome you are giving us with two and a half months to go before the show starts at Jardín Botánico of the Complutense University of Madrid.
In less than a week, several of the concerts we presented on 02 March have sold out. Among the most outstanding ones are Pablo Alborán and Wilco, who join the list of sold out concerts.
Other shows such as Belle & Sebastian / Beth Orton, Crowded House, LP or The Smile have already sold out with more than 80 days to go until the start of the shows. An unprecedented situation so far, as this is the first time that the concert series has reached these figures so early.
It seems like an eternity, but it's not. It's getting closer and closer to the start of this sixth edition, characterised by the high presence of great exponents of international music.
Alaska will give way to Little Dragon, Marisa Monte, Snarky Puppy, Diana Krall, Steve Vai or Yossou N'Dour, among others, to turn the botanical stage into a window to the variety of cultures and sounds from all over the planet.
It is vitally important to purchase tickets from official ticket outlets, www.nochesdelbotanico.com and www.entradas.com, in order to avoid resale platforms and fraudulent websites.
